This page covers both OSHONIC Bathroom (Smart Toilets) and Living (Wholesale) categories. Please read the section relevant to your purchase.
Bathroom – Smart Toilets
Are Oshonic smart toilets compliant for installation in Australia?
Yes. Oshonic smart toilets are supplied with applicable Australian compliance including WaterMark certification, WELS rating, and RCM electrical compliance where required. Certification is model-specific and disclosed on the relevant product page and documentation. Installation must still be completed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and applicable Australian standards.
Do smart toilets require specific plumbing or electrical setup?
Yes. Smart toilets require correct plumbing configuration, compliant water pressure and flow rate, drainage suitability, and appropriate electrical access. Requirements vary by model and site conditions. It is the customer's responsibility to have a licensed plumber and, where required, a licensed electrician assess the site before purchase. Oshonic does not provide site assessments and does not accept responsibility for incompatible installations.
Can I install an Oshonic smart toilet myself?
No. Installation must be carried out by appropriately licensed trades. Non-compliant installation may create safety risks, void warranty eligibility, and breach local regulations. Oshonic does not authorise DIY installation under any circumstances.
Is installation included in the purchase price?
No. Oshonic supplies products only. Installation, site preparation, plumbing adjustments, electrical works, permits and compliance verification are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and their licensed trades.
How do I confirm if a smart toilet will fit my bathroom?
Consult your licensed plumber before purchasing. Confirm rough-in measurements, set-out dimensions, floor waste position, water inlet location, electrical proximity, and clearances. Oshonic does not guarantee fitment without proper site verification.
Are Oshonic smart toilets suitable for all Australian water pressure conditions?
Performance depends on site conditions including water pressure, flow rate and water quality. You must confirm suitability with your plumber before purchase. Oshonic does not guarantee performance in locations with non-compliant pressure, inadequate supply, or poor water quality.
Do smart toilets require a dedicated power outlet?
Most models are supplied with a standard Australian power plug. However, electrical configuration and suitability must be assessed by your licensed electrician in accordance with applicable standards. Oshonic does not determine site electrical compliance.
What should I check before installation?
Before installation, confirm the correct model and specifications, site compatibility (plumbing and electrical), required fittings and clearances, and compliance with manufacturer instructions. Your licensed plumber is the appropriate professional to advise.
What should I do immediately after delivery?
Inspect immediately before installation. Confirm the correct model, check packaging condition, and inspect for visible damage or missing components. Keep all packaging until inspection is complete. Any delivery issues must be reported within the timeframe stated in the Returns & Refunds Policy.
Do not install a product that has not been inspected.
What if the product is damaged on arrival?
Report delivery damage strictly within the timeframe stated in the Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy. Provide photographic evidence of packaging and product condition. Late claims may be rejected. Products installed prior to reporting damage may void claim eligibility.
What if there is a problem after installation?
Installation must be completed by licensed trades in accordance with manufacturer instructions. If an issue arises, claims must follow the process outlined in the Warranty Information page. Proof of compliant installation may be required. Improper installation may void warranty eligibility.
What does the warranty cover for smart toilets?
Warranty coverage is product-specific and strictly limited to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, as outlined in the Warranty Information page. Oshonic does not cover plumber or electrician call-out fees, site visits, labour costs, removal or reinstallation costs, access costs, or consequential damages. Approved claims are typically resolved by supplying replacement parts only, in accordance with manufacturer policy and Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
Does Oshonic cover installation or labour costs under warranty?
No. Oshonic does not cover labour, installation, removal, reinstallation, transport, or access costs under warranty, except where strictly required under Australian Consumer Law. Warranty remedies are limited as defined in the Warranty Information policy.
Are spare parts available?
Yes. Spare parts are available subject to model and component availability. Some parts may need to be ordered. In urgent cases, international shipping charges may apply where applicable. Availability timeframes vary.
